Reports from German newspaper Bild, Rammstein’s singer Till Lindemann is currently in the ICU of a Berlin hospital after being diagnosed with symptoms Covid-19.
March 15th Rammstein had a performance in Moscow. When returning to Germany he was hospitalized with an exceedingly high fever and he was later tested to be negative for the coronavirus. Rumors said that he had tested positive but we’re happy to report that he has a clean bill of health when it comes to COVID-19
Lindemann is 57 years old. His condition has gone from critical to feeling better and his life is no longer in danger. It is uncertain if Lindemann contracted the bug in Russia or not. Currently, Russia has 1000 cases and 3 deaths.
Germany has been hit hard with this pandemic with more than 47,000 confirmed cases. Though the interesting fact is Germany also has a low mortality rate compared to other counties, with 285 deaths. This is approximately 0.6%.
Earlier this year Rammstein announced a huge North American stadium tour and begins August 20th in Montreal. Hopefully, by then, this whole pandemic will have blown over. Here’s hoping! Stay safe out there and remember to continue to practice social distancing.
