So…How Many Movies Has Samuel L. Jackson Been In?
It was the end of another long workday. I pull up to my house, check the mail on the way in, say hello to my 2 puppies, get some double stuf Oreos and turn on my television. As I browse through some new movie options on Netflix, I see a few new added movies starring Samuel L. Jackson. Yes, Mr. Mothe F**ker himself!
Movies like Glass, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, XXX, The Hateful Eight, Pulp Fiction, The Avengers…all streaming now.
I was hit by the realization that he’s somehow been in a TON of movies I love or have at least liked and watched. Of course some better than others, but still in a scary amount of titles.
So I started thinking…how many movies has this guy been in! I went to IMDB and fell down the Jackson rabbit hole.
14 printed pages later I did the math.
Excluding Voice Over roles (cartoons, animated movies) and tv show / special appearances, music videos, etc…how many times have we seen his face in a movie.
The total times we’ve seen him on the big screen is an incredible 119 times!
Out of the 119 movies he’s appeared in, I’ve seen 55 of them.
The list is impressive! Starting with his first appearance in the 1978 movie “Together For Days” to his last in 2019 named “The Last Full Measure”.
Still my favorite scene of his is from Pulp Fiction as Jules as seen in the clip below.
