    Starbucks Halloween Secret Menu Ranked

Okay, we all know the ‘Secret’ menu that Starbucks has, when in reality it’s just a bunch of trial and error from people who like to play coffee god. Most are hits and some are misses. But that’s okay because it gives everyone a thrill to try something new, and even get that cool Instagram photo feel. Recently three drinks have surfaced for the fall, and I went down to my local Starbucks to try each one. Because, what else is there to do on a day off with an impending test coming my way. Procrastinators unite tomorrow!

    On a scale of 1 ? to 5 ? I will rank each one.

    IT Frappuccino

First up we have the IT Frappuccino, this beauty first made waves back in 2017 when the first part of the movie took place. Now it’s back again and making the same waves. It’s easy enough to order actually.

    • Vanilla Creme Frappuccino
    • Whipped cream
    •  Strawberry puree on top.

There isn’t caffeine for those that are sensitive to caffeine. When I ordered mine it came out looking like this.

Wow factor 1 ? But as I waited for my other drinks and pumpkin muffin to arrive and when I finally got home something magical happened.

Aw yeah son, that is what I am talking about. 5 ?????!!!

The taste is basically a milkshake with strawberries, and the tartness is something that keeps ya going for more. But overall I was over this drink after the first sip or two. This is purely for aesthetic Instagram shots. But if you are into this sort of milkshake taste, hey this is up your ally.

    Over all score: 3 ???

    Cinderella Latte

Next on the list Cinderella Latte. This made drink made its way through the internet with a single Instagram post.

It may be 100° outside but it’s September 1st which means my favorite season is approaching. Turned the AC low af to decorate the house with all the fall decor and got myself a Cinderella Latte ??✨ pic.twitter.com/1gkwgmVCG1

This one is fairly easy to order as well.

    • Pumpkin spice latte
    • Substitute ½ with white chocolate mocha.

In a tall a PSL has 3 pumps of pumpkin spice, so I asked for 1 ½ of pumpkin spice and 1 ½ white chocolate mocha.

Now I can’t show any pictures, as I ordered mine hot, but the smell does remind me of Biscoff cookies?? Okay, that earns 5 ????? because I am a fan of those cookies. Taste? Well, I just taste the pumpkin spice, and not the white mocha. Wait, no there it is, after the third sip I tasted it. I guess it’s creamy. This kinda (and that’s a hard kinda mind you) reminds me of the Creamy Pumpkin Frap I had in Japan last year. Not quite, but almost there. Now I am not being a harsh judge, I have tried this baby as a frap and over ice, and it has YET to win me over.

    Over all score: 2 ??

    Jack Skellington Frappucchino

Last but certainly not least we have the Jack Skellington drink.
There is also a hot drink to this guy as well.

    To order the Frap:

    • Pumpkin spice Frap
    • Single shot chai
    • Whipped cream
    • Mocha drizzle in the cup
    • Java chips on top

    To order the hot drink

    • Dirty chai tea latte
    • 1 Shot espresso
    • Java chips on top

The smell reminds me of fall, you get the subtle hints of chai and pumpkin enveloping you indo a wonderful blanket that almost makes you forget that you have an impending test coming your way.

    Scent you get 5 ?????

The taste is the taste of fall, but OH MY GOODNESS IS THIS DRINK EVER SO SWEET. Blech, I mean I love sweet drinks, don’t get me wrong but this is waaaaaaaaaaay over the top for me. You get the notes of pumpkin and chai, but wow, no. Not for me. Maybe it would be better if I tried this as a cold drink?

    Overall score: 1 ?

Now that I have surpassed my sugar intake for the day, I am fairly impressed with these drinks. They were fun to order and my barista was a good sport through the process. And the team at my local Starbucks were champs to make em all. But hey, if there is more drinks to try, I will be down to give it a shot. Lord knows I have enough gold stars.
