In today’s edition of weird stuff food companies come up with… Hostess has teased a new Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwich Twinkie. It’s a bit late for April Fool’s though. And about 201 days away until the next one.
In a photo that is obviously photo shopped they stated “Only the real ones know about these”. Trying to play off of the other odd stuff that other companies have announced. Some real and some made up. It would seem that it was a post made to get some press, which they have gotten so good on them. But they also haven’t admitted to this being a joke so it could still be happening? I mean Heinz did come out with a very limited edition Ketchup Caviar so who really knows?
Most of the people commenting on the original post are saying “No WAY” while others are morbidly curious. I would take a bite but definitely make sure to have a napkin to spit into ready. Seriously though if they just wanted to add a crunch to it why not just use crunchy peanut butter?
