Mustard Ice-Cream is Now A Thing

Do you like mustard? Do you find yourself unable to enjoy a sandwich without your favorite condiment? Have you ever thought about freezing mustard? Now how about making it into ice-cream? Too far? Coolhaus doesn’t think so.

SoCal-based ice-cream company Coolhaus has partnered with condiment-maker French’s to bring you mustard ice-cream. However, you won’t find this puzzling treat in your local freezer aisle. You need to head to Culver City to Coolhaus to try it. The mustard ice-cream will be available from August 2nd to 4th, and again from August 9th to 11th. Of course, August 3rd is National Mustard Day.

Don’t let the bright color deceive you, this is no normal ice-cream.

Each mustard scoop is accompanied with a pretzel cookie. After all, pretzels and mustard are the savory equivalent of peanut butter and jelly. Eager consumers can scoop out a generous quantity of ice-cream onto their pretzel cookie for this full creamy mustard experience. It is definitely going to have more of a kick than most ice-creams.

As it melts, it looks just like its original form.

So if you are in the Culver City area, it may be worth your time to try out this one-of-a-kind frozen treat. After all, it may actually be better then a lot of other ice-cream flavors available these days.
