Three women in southern Montana were injured after a rare river otter attack. The women were attacked while floating on inner tubes, one needed to be airlifted to a hospital for her injuries. The attack happened on a remote portion of the Jefferson River near the town of Cardwell. The area is known for being popular with anglers and recreational floaters. CEO of the American arm of Bloomsbury Publishing Adrienne Vaughan has died in a tragic boating accident. Vaughan started working for Bloomsbury US in 2020, and served the last two years as president. The incident occurred off Italy’s Amalfi Coast on August 4th. Vaughan and her family were riding a motorboat that collided with a sailing vessel. Her husband and two children survived the accident. Vaughan’s death is currently being investigated by the Prosecutor’s office in Salerno. Vaughan was the president of Bloomsbury US, the American arm of Bloomsbury Publishing in the UK. Animated series “Lackadaisy” will be starting with their first season after raising $1 million in less than a week! The funds will be used to create a first season consisting of 5 episode. Iron Circus Animation, the producer for the show, started a new crowdfunding campaign and raised more than enough funds. Lizzo has been hit with a lawsuit from three of her former touring dancers. The lawsuit alleges the singer committed assault, sexual harassment, and discrimination against the trio. Former dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez filed the suit with the Los Angeles Superior Court on August 1st. The dancers claim they were forced to attend and participate in sex shows while on tour, along with several other shocking complaints. Taco Bell Corp. is facing a class action lawsuit that alleges false advertisement. Frank Siragusa claims the company advertisements misrepresent the amount of ingredients in the Crunchwrap Supreme and Mexican Pizza items. The lawsuit was filed on July 31st by Siragusa on behalf of himself and other customers in New York who purchased the items. The lawsuit contains various examples of how the advertisements show more ingredients like beef and beans.
