“Wonder Woman 3” is reportedly being worked on as DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran revive the project. Star Gal Gadot is slated to return, as well as actively developing the film with Gunn and Safran. The project was considered dead in the water following the exit of previous director Patty Jenkins.

“I love portraying Wonder Woman,” Gadot told ComicBook.com. “It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together.”
It is good to hear”Wonder Woman 3” is going to happen after all. It’s even better to hear Gadot will be returning to the role. Wonder Woman as a character means a lot to women across the world. To know her story on the silver screen is not over is empowering.

Gunn and Safran are putting in a lot of work to revamp the DC universe. One of the most notable changes is Henry Cavill will no longer play Superman. David Corenswet will take up the mantle of the “Man of Steel” in the upcoming “Superman: Legacy.” Corenswet will be joined by a new Lois Lane portrayed by Rachel Brosnahan, the character Amy Adams played during Cavill’s run.
There is no current production start date for “Wonder Woman 3.” “Superman Legacy” is looking at shooting to begin in January 2024.
