This just in-we are delighted to share the news that Matt Frewer will be returning as a pretty iconic character. Max Headroom, cyberpunk icon from the mid 80s, will be making a comeback on AMC. Not only that, but Frewer will be reprising the role. Christopher Cantwell, co-creator one of my personal favorite series “Halt and Catch Fire,” is penning the project, and will act as showrunner. Other notable names attached include Elijah Wood and Daniel Noah’s SpectreVision and All3Media producing. No word on when we may see the project, but we’ll let you know what we hear about this and…

This just in-it would appear there is a real reason for the ongoing delay for the next “Tomb Raider” film. According to reports, MGM Studios has lost the battle for ownership rights to the franchise. The rights have reverted to Graham King and GK Films. Earlier this week, rumors of bidding wars from streaming services and other studios were rampant, and now we know why. It’s also worth noting Square Enix, who was the video game publisher for the Tomb Raider titles, also recently sold their stake in the franchise.This also means any possible sequels starring Alicia Vikander are unlikely.Amazon…

What if we told you the return of Ben Affleck as Batman in “Aquaman 2” is possible? We know several fans had this on their likely SDCC bingo cards, but we all know how the WB showcase turned out. Dozens of documentaries get made about prominent musicians and personalities. What makes this new David Bowie docu so special? Well, this is the first time his family has approved it. Supermodel and beauty icon Iman (who just happens to be Bowie’s widow) had spoken about the family’s hesitance to grant approval previously. “We always ask each other, ‘Would he do it?’ He wouldn’t,” she told Variety. Not only are we getting two more seasons of AppleTV+’s fabulous series “Mythic Quest,” we have a teaser for the next season! We are delighted to share the official trailer for AMC’s upcoming “Interview with the Vampire” series. Based on the works of late great Anne Rice, “Interview” will bring the tales of Louis, Lestat, and Claudia to audiences later this year. The trailer was released during the series’ SDCC 2022 panel in Ballroom 20. Jacob Anderson plays Louis Pointe Du Lac, Sam Reid plays Lestat de lioncourt. Bailey Bass is set to play Claudia.  Eric Bogosian plays Daniel, the reporter.”Interview with the Vampire” will hit AMC on October 2nd, 2022. During today’s “Star Trek” Paramount+ panel at SDCC, we got our first look at the upcoming third and final season of “Star Trek: Picard.” Take a first look at the cast of Star Trek: Picard’s final season, including Sir Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard), LeVar Burton (Geordi La Forge), Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Michelle Hurd (Raffi Musiker), Michael Dorn (Worf), Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi), Jonathan Frakes (William Riker), and Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher).It was mentioned Brent Spiner will also be appearing, but possibly NOT as Data. Saturday at SDCC 2022 kicked off with a very large Warner Bros. Pictures panel. Everyone in the audience was given light up badges with the “Black Adam” logo!
