It seems like only yesterday SAG-AFTRA, the labor union of Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists was on strike for fare wages, compensation, and other notable issues. In 2023, the guild authorized a strike against the AMPTP, which was the longest in their history at 118 days. On July 26, 2024 SAG-AFTRA authorized another strike, this time against all video game companies. When was the last time you thought about XBOX 360? Months? Years? Originally launched on November 22nd, 2005 in the states, this was THE gaming machine. Designed and built by Microsoft to be the next generation of consoles, the 360 was special. Yes, PlayStation had their entries, but this particular unit really set the tone of things to come.
