One of our favorite things about Halloween is seeing just how hard some celebs go for the holiday. There’s always a tremendous reveal from Heidi Klum (this year it was E.T.), Neil Patrick Harris’s entire family, and various one-ofs that are awesome. Our favorite this year (so far) is “The Wild Robot” star Lupita Nyong’o’s Marvel Comics costume. We’re not sure why exactly the world needs a “Game of Thrones” movie after 8 seasons of a main series, 2 seasons of a spinoff, and at least 5 other potential spinoffs in the works. Not to mention that whole thing where the author of the series the show is based on not being able to finish the book he’s been promising for what, 15 years now? We are so very sorry to share the news of the passing of an icon. The great Teri Garr, knockout blonde bombshell with perfect comedic timing and a heart of gold, as passed away. Garr was arguably best known for her role of Inga in Mel Brooks’ seminal comedic classic, “Young Frankenstein,” and for her turn in “Tootsie,” which nabbed her an Oscar nomination. This just in-Prime Video’s “Good Omens” will NOT be getting a third season to end the series. Instead, the David Tennant and Michael Sheen starring show will get one single episode as a send off. True, 90 minutes is no slouch, but, we were hoping for a fully realized season rather than this. This just in-sounds like Sony and Amazon have a new direction for their upcoming “God of War” live-action series. Based on the HUGELY popular and multi award-winning franchise from Santa Monica Studio, this adaptation was officially announced back in December of 2022. Since then, there have been some shakeups, such as showrunner and head writer Rafe Judkins (“Wheel of Time”) leaving the project. this past week. Well, more bad news for fans of Marvel Studios’ day-walking vampire, “Blade.” The previously announced film starring Oscar winner Mahershala Ali has been pulled from all Disney / Marvel Studios release calendars. This comes amid multiple shakeups on the writing and directing side. Dan Trachtenberg’s (“10 Cloverfield Lane,” “Prey”) upcoming “Predator: Badlands” starring Elle Fanning will now be hitting theaters November 7th, 2025, which was gonna be “Blade’s” release date.
