We knew it was coming, but Warner Bros. Pictures just pushed “Dune” back another full year. The film from director Denis Villeneuve will now open on October 1st, 2021- which is the current release date for Matt Reeves’ “The Batman.”So clearly, one of these will be moving again. More to come….

This just in- Cineworld owned and operated Regal Cinemas chain have made the public statement that they will be shuttering and halting ALL business by the end of the day on Wednesday, October 8th 2020. This is obviously due to the ongoing world-wide pandemic of Covid-19, which has made it’s way to the top of the American political tree, infecting President Trump and several of his closest aids and other top Republican persons. This is one of those strange stories that sort of comes out of nowhere, but it would appear that “Mean Girls” Broadway alum Sabrina Carpenter will be producing and starring in a new take on Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, “Alice In Wonderland” for Netflix.Per The Hollywood Reporter, this new take will be a comedy musical, with Carpenter in the lead role of Alice. They say this “modern-day musical will be set against the backdrop of a music festival called Wonderland.” Ross Evans (“Catch the Moon”) is tackling the original screenplay. Leslie Morgenstein, Elysa Dutton, and Carpenter are producing for book-to-screen…

We’re pretty excited for “Free Guy,” and the first trailer for this science fiction action comedy film perfectly showcases why. Shawn Levy (“Stranger Things”) directs from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman (“The Christmas Chronicles”) and Zak Penn (“Ready Player One”), and a story by Lieberman. We knew it was only a matter of time before MGM opted to further delay the upcoming 25th installment in the James Bond 007 franchise, “No Time To Die.” This comes not a moment too soon, as it was scheduled to open on November 20th (it’s what, third date?). If there was ever a movie set we could sneak onto right now (you know, since Dune is done and all)- we WISH we could be with the original trio of stars from “Jurassic Park.” Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern are all returning as their iconic characters for the upcoming “Jurassic World: Dominion” film.In a new Instagram post from Goldblum, we see him reenacting an iconic scene from “Jurassic Park,” where Dr. Ian Malcolm explains his chaos theory to Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant.
