For whatever reason, we’re still getting another “Fantastic Beasts” film. “The Secrets of Dumbledore” will be the third in the “Harry Potter” adjacent franchise, and it’s due out later this year. We’re apparently getting an all-new trailer later this week. To celebrate, Warner Bros. Pictures released a bunch of new character posters for David Yates’ upcoming Wizarding World film. “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” is set to hit theaters on April 15th, 2022. Picture it, 2003. “Malcolm in the Middle” is much-watch comedy on Fox. Series star Frankie Muniz is super popular, and gets his own teenage James Bond film franchise. “Agent Cody Banks” was a James Bond-esque Disney film which also stared Hillary Duff. For whatever reason, Muniz took to Twitter to toot his own ‘bad ass’ horn for playing the character. And also…talk about what Cody Banks might be up to now? Back in 2017, rumors swirled about scenes that were filmed and cut for David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad.” There were stories about additional Joker (Jared Leto) scenes, possible Batman inclusions, and of course- more Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie). A continuation of HISTORY’s “Vikings” series from creator Michael Hirst, “Vikings: Valhalla” will tell the tale of other notable Norse warriors and explorers. Today during IGN’s Fan Fest 2022, Netflix revealed the opening title sequence. Filmmaker Jon Watts, who directed all three of Tom Holland’s “Spider-Man” outings, may be headed to a galaxy far, far away. This is a story that is currently super deep into rumor territory. Watts is possibly currently in discussion to direct “a new series” in the “Star Wars” universe for Disney+. There’s no telling what the project might be, it could be anything. The time has come for IGN’s annual Fan Fest. Today, things kicked off with a look at Paramount+’s upcoming live-action “Halo” series. Highlights include new footage, some never before seen concept art including set dioramas, and interviews with key cast and creatives for the series. Pablo Schreiber, who plays Master Chief, teased the possibility of seeing the iconic character’s face during the show. Sony’s live-action film adaptation of popular video game “Uncharted” has just hit theaters. Star Tom Holland, while no one’s first choice for the role of Nathan Drake, seems pretty into the property. So much so in fact that he hung out with popular YouTube personality Jack Septiceye to play the game. The pair play parts of “Uncharted: 4,” chapter 11. It’s been a minute since we heard anything about Amazon’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Bethesda’s ever popular video game franchise “Fallout.” But, we’re happy to report, the news is good! According to the usual suspects, Walton Goggins (“Justified,” “Incinvible”) will star in “Fallout.” We’re not sure exactly where in the game’s lore the show will pick up from. But we do know that Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan (“Westworld”) are helming the project. Early fan speculation includes Goggins playing a Ghoul.
