The first teaser for the upcoming sequel “The Devil Wears Prada 2” has released! Technically, it’s more of a production start notice than an actual teaser, but seeing the iconic pitchfork heel again is exciting. Fairly timely, too, as longstanding Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour has stepped down from overseeing the American branch of the fashion magazine. Original screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna is penning the script.Original stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci are returning. Kenneth Branagh has been cast as Miranda’s (Streep’s) husband. “The Devil Wears Prada 2” is currently set to hit theaters May 1st, 2026.

Villeneuve will also serve as executive producer, alongside partner Tanya Lapointe, as well as Amy Pascal and David Heyman.“Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007. We want to start by saying this is a very, very interesting idea. Looking at the great Mel Brooks’ body of work, it’s hard to name another filmmaker with comedies so instantly quotable and timeless. (Okay, yes, “Blazing Saddles” is one of those flicks that maybe doesn’t connect with modern audiences like it did during it’s release.) But a prequel? To “Young Frankenstein?!” From the “What We Do In The Shadows” folks, with Brooks producing? We’re sitting forward in our seats in anticipation. According to reports, a pilot order is “close” for a potential series at FX. Stefani Robinson would…
