Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

It’s almost time to see the return of the Man Without Fear. Charlie Cox will again don the red devil cowl of the protector of Hell’s Kitchen, and go toe-to-toe with Wilson Fisk. “Daredevil: Born Again” is probably one of Disney+’s most anticipated new series for the coming year, and we cannot wait to see it. “A few years have passed,” Cox told Empire Magazine about the return. “In that time, Matt, Foggy, and Karen have found a pretty good rhythm. Matt’s made peace with his role both as a lawyer and a vigilante. Then, of course, shit hits the…

2025 will mark 15 years since Disney released “TRON: Legacy.” We’re remembering how excited we were for the film- the original being one of our favorites from childhood- and wondering how The Grid would be updated with technology of the time. Needless to say, “TRON: Legacy” freaking RULES, thanks in no small part to the incredible score by Daft Punk. And, subsequently, the artists who contributed pieces to the no less incredible “Tron: Legacy Reconfigured” remix soundtrack album. So, with industrial mainstay and pioneers Nine Inch Nails in the hot seat for “TRON: Ares,” we’re very curious to see how…

At long last, the First Family of Marvel Comics is coming back to the big screen. It’s been 9 years since the team last had a live-action feature film, and the less said about “Fant4stic” the better. No shade to the cast, but, that film was…not good. This next version has the possibility of being something special. This will be Marvel Studios’ first time overseeing the Fantastic Four. With tried-and-true “WandaVision” helmer Matt Shakman is directing, and the cast alone for this outing is enough to set our expectations SUPER high. Pedro Pascal (“The Last of Us”) will play Reed Richards/Mr.…

We are incredibly excited for the live-action adaptation of “How to Train Your Dragon.” Obviously, the DreamWorks films are perfect, and don’t need the reboot/remake treatment. But, BUT, look how cute the first-look image of Mason Thames as Hiccup is! Dean DeBlois, who directed the three animated films, will be co-directing alongside Chris Sanders. Thames (“The Black Phone“) plays Hiccup alongside Nico Parker (“The Last of Us“) as Astrid. Nick Frost will play Gobber the Belch, while Gerard Butler will reprise his role as Stoick the Vast.“It’s so dialled-up in terms of stakes — having a fully credible, photo-real dragon stomping around trying…

The upcoming live-action series adaptation of popular video game franchise “Tomb Raider” has found its lead. No, this isn’t the same as Netflix’s animated series. No, this also isn’t a continuation of the Alicia Vikander-starring live-action “Lara Croft” reboot. This is the series being developed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge for Prime Video. Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones”) is apparently on the top of the list to take on the mantle of Lady Croft. Sources say the deal isn’t fully done yet, so, we’ll keep an ear to the ground. Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios partnered for the project.

Iconic news parody and satire site The Onion has done something incredible. In an age where many of the factual news outlet headlines read like something The Onion would publish, the site has officially purchased Infowars. The site, once owned by disgraced blowhard Alex Jones, was up for public auction after Jones filed for bankruptcy. Why, you may ask, did he need to put his outlet on the auction block? Well, it was because he owed the Sandy Hook school shooting victim’s families upwards of $1.4 billion awarded from a defamation lawsuit.Needless to say, Jones and his Free Speech Systems…
