We love a good makeup transformation around here. Think about someone like Gary Oldman in “The Darkest Hour,” or most recently, Colin Farrell as The Penguin in “The Batman.” Some absolutely incredible work by designers, on set makeup artists, and the actors themselves. We’re highly expecting Bradley Cooper’s upcoming Leonard Bernstein biopic to be one of these. Cooper will direct the project for Netflix. During Star Wars Celebration 2022, fans were treated to a first look at the upcoming season 2 of “The Bad Batch.” Creator Dave Filoni introduced the panel, and hyped the crowd.  “I am so proud of this group,” he said. “What they’ve made with Bad Batch is just absolutely incredible.” The panel, hosted by David Collins, consisted of Michelle Ang (Omega), Dee Bradely Baker (pretty much all the Clones), story editor Matt Michnovetz, head writer Jennifer Corbett, and executive producer/supervising director Brad Rau. We are delighted to share the news that a sequel to EA’s massively successful “Jedi: Fallen Order” video game is on the way! Announced during Star Wars Celebration 2022, the sequel will be titled “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.” A teaser was released for the project, which will continue the story of Cal Kestis (and BD1). “Indiana Jones” will return for a 5th film in 2023! We were kinda hoping for a title reveal, but this image of star Harrison Ford is pretty great! Both star Ford and director James Mangold were on hand during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase at Star Wars Celebration today. “I told John that music follows me wherever I go, and you know I’m happy about it,” Harrison said. “It was playing on the speakers during my last colonoscopy. After weeks of speculation, we can finally confirm the upcoming mysterious “Grammar Rodeo” project, which was named after a “The Simpsons” episode, is actually… “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew!” It’s an original series starring Jude Law, from executive producers Jon Watts (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”), Christopher Ford, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. It’s set to hit Disney+ in 2023. Watts and Ford are currently in pre-production. We are delighted to share the news that “Willow,” Disney+ series based on Ron Howard’s classic fantasy film, is coming THIS year!A teaser trailer was shown during Star Wars Celebration, as well as the official release date! “There is only one Madmartigan in the ‘Willow’ universe, and it’s Val Kilmer,” Jonathan Kasdan said. “Madmartigan is a major figure in season one. We talked to Val a lot during filming.” The series takes place 20 years after the film. “Willow” hits Disney+ on November 30th, 2022.
