This just in-After months- nay YEARS- of less than optimal outings, Warner Bros. Pictures has brokered a new deal for their DC Comics-based arm. Previously called DC Films, the branch will now be called DC Studios, and will be run by James Gunn and Peter Safran. Gunn and Safran will share the titles of co-chairs and co-CEOs of DC Studios. Both had been spotted recently on the WB lot, presumedly meeting for this. Earlier today, we were treated to a surprise trailer drop from Marvel Studios, for a new project destined to be an instant holiday classic. The “Guardians of the Galaxy” are getting their own special presentation Christmas thing, exclusively for Disney+. As the first look reveals, members of the Guardians go on a mission to retrieve the ultimate Christmas present for Peter Quill aka Star Lord (Chris Pratt), who’s been pretty down since the death of his girlfriend, Gamora (Zoe Saldana). The first trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy” upcoming holiday special is here, and features a pretty epic cameo. It sure looks like members of the Guardians are searching for the ultimate Christmas gift for Star Lord (Chris Pratt), which brings them to present-day Hollywood, and the door of Kevin Bacon. Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Drax (Dave Bautista) break into the “Tremors” star’s home, and kidnap him. Amazing. The Holiday Special hits Disney+ November 25th, 2022.

At long last, we’ve gotten our first look at the upcoming live-action “Fallout” tv series. Obviously taking it’s cues from the ever-popular video game franchise of the same name, expect to see vault dwellers throughout. The one and only Kate Mulgrew took time out of her busy schedule to visit a very special place. “Star Trek” fans know future birthplaces of Starfleet captains is a pretty big thing in the franchise. Sometimes time travel episodes (or films) happen in these locations. Sometimes fangroups erect special monuments to commemorate these places.
