Get ready to return to the “Planet of The Apes” with a new installment in the long-running franchise from Wes Ball (“The Maze Runner”). Supposedly, this film will act as a bridge between Matt Reeves’ how-it-happened trilogy and original films from the 1970s. When word first hit in the early 2000s that a musical based on “The Wizard of Oz” was coming, everyone kinda had the same thought. “We already have that.
