It wouldn’t be almost (officially) summer without some release date changes. Earlier this morning, Walt Disney Studios announced some pretty big shifts in their upcoming lineup. Titles like “Avatar 3,” multiple Marvel Studios projects, and even “Star Wars” have all been moved. “Avatar 3” moves from December 2024 to December 2025, “Avatar 4” moves all the way to December 2029, with “Avatar 5” slated for December 2031. Thats….thats a long time. On the Marvel Studios front, “Avengers: Kang Dynasty” has been delayed from it’s original May 2025 release to May 1st, 2026. “Avengers: Secret Wars” was originally slated for May of 2026, but will now also…

He was more than just a comics writer. Stan Lee became a figurehead for fandom, a shepherd of heroes. His cameos in Marvel Studios films were a highlight of each release. His words about certain casting choices were heartwarming and inspirational. We are very sorry to share the news that wrestling legend Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, aka The Iron Sheik, has passed away. The news was posted by his official social media accounts, and says he passed peacefully.

This just in-Disney+’s upcoming “Ahsoka” “Star Wars” series finally has an official release date! We knew it was coming sometime this summer, but as of this morning, we know it’ll be debuting on August 23rd, 2023. While a certain someone has a certain adventure film due out later this month, he’s ALSO in the middle of working on a certain pretty big super hero franchise. Harrison Ford- Indiana Jones himself- is joining the MCU in the upcoming 4th “Captain America” film. It was originally going to be titled “New World Order,” but the news this morning includes an update to that. Following the happenings of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” “Captain America: Brave New World” will focus on Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) really living the Captain America life.
