It has been 70 days since the Writers Guild of America (WGA) began their strike against the AMPTP, demanding fair compensation for their work. Ridley Scott’s historical epic “Napoleon” has it’s first trailer. Scott directs from a script by David Scarpa. This long in the works passion project will take “an original and personal look at Napoleon’s origins and his swift, ruthless climb to emperor, viewed through the prism of his addictive and often volatile relationship with his wife and one true love.” Not gonna lie, this shot of Napoleon looking at the Sphinx is probably my favorite in the trailer- playing into the story he and his men shot it’s nose off while in Egypt. We’re not quite sure how or why, but Jennifer Garner is returning as comic character Elektra for the upcoming Marvel Studios film “Deadpool 3.” Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman star, with Shawn Levy (“The Adam Project”) is directing. Each year, fans from across the globe converge in downtown San Diego to experience the madness that is San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). 2023 will be an interesting year for the annual gathering, as multiple big kid studios and projects are opting not to have a presence. We’d previously reported on a possible teaming up of two major players in the streaming game. HBO, which is under the per-view of Warner Bros. The upcoming stop-motion project from dwarf studios and Netflix “Pokémon Concierge” is coming later this year! A new look at the upcoming series was just revealed during AnimeExpo in Los Angeles. The story follows Haru, a concierge at the ‘Pokémon Resort,’ and her interactions with Pokémon and their owners who visit as guests. The set tour is hosting by Non, who will be providing the voice for Haru.
