During today’s Warner Bros. Discovery investor’s showcase, we got a lot of news. But, the thing we’re the most interested in HAS to be the first teaser for “The Batman” spinoff series, “The Penguin.” Starring Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin, the series will take a deep dive in to the gangster we first met in Matt Reeves’ film. The series will premiere in 2024 on Max, the newly named joint streaming venture from WB and Discovery.

This just in-sounds like we’ll be seeing both Morena Baccarin as Vanessa and Stefan Kapicic as Colossus in the upcoming third “Deadpool” film! We also know Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams are coming back as Dopinder and Blind Al, respectively.They’ll be joined by Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, and of course, Ryan Reynolds. It’s unclear at this time if Brianna Hildebrand, who played Teenage Negasonic Warhead, will also be returning. We’re still not sure how we feel about Mel Gibson starring in a spinoff for “John Wick,” but, we got the first teaser this morning. It’ll be a three-part series, and Peacock has the streaming rights after much back and forth with STARZ. After what feels like forever, we finally have a first look at the sequel to Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” film. Even though fan-favorite “Stranger Things” is ending, Netflix isn’t ready to end their partnership with The Duffer Brothers yet. An animated series, based on the retro science fiction hit, is in the works for the streaming giant.
