Hi, I’m Ada. I like long walks in the graveyard, horror movies, comic books, and bringing you the latest in nerd-centric news.

Director Rupert Sanders (“Ghost In The Shell” 2017) has headed the…controversial…remake of 1994 gothic cult classic, “The Crow.” The upcoming movie has already become a lightning rod for fan outrage. Prime Video’s irreverent superhero series “The Boys” has entered the popcorn bucket wars with the raunchiest entry yet. As you’ll see- it’s a penis, just a big ol’ penis. We are assuming the hole to eat the popcorn out of is on the other side. War Of The Popcorn Buckets In March, “Dune: Part 2” was released along with a now iconic popcorn bucket. While the bucket was meant to resemble a sandworm from the books/movies, it also looked like a Fleshlight. This, of course, became a huge meme on the internet, with the movie’s cast even joining in on the…

Heat waves and the 4th of July weekend have Americans flocking to the beach. Unfortunately, many Massachusetts residents won’t be able to swim in the ocean due to dozens of beaches being closed. And no, there is no need for a bigger boat because it’s not due to a shark. [Even though “Jaws” was shot in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.] These closures are due to harmful bacteria levels. So basically Massachusetts traded “Jaws” for “Cabin Fever” or “The Crazies.” The state’s water quality dashboard lists dozens of beaches that will be closed for the holiday weekend. These locations include popular destinations…
