Oliver Award winner Simon Callow (“Four Weddings And A Funeral”) will star in the upcoming comedy-horror “Murder Ballads: How to Make it in Rock ’n’ Roll.” The film will premiere later this month at the Nightmares Film Festival in Columbus, Ohio. “Murder Ballads” tells the story of the rapid rise and violent fall of the rock band Stack of Corpses. We finally have a release date for “Masters of the Air,” the much-anticipated follow-up series to the hit shows “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific.” The new series will be based on Donald L. Miller’s biography “Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany.” The book tells the story of the men in the US Eighth Air Force and their heroic aerial war against Nazi forces. Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is still hard at work on his long sought after adaptation of Mary Shelley’s groundbreaking novel, “Frankenstein.” The project has added Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz to the star-studded cast. The world’s largest post apocalyptic festival Wasteland Weekend returned to the Mojave Desert for it’s 13th year this past weekend. The five-day event ran from September 27th through October 1st, and is a fully immersive experience you have to see to believe. Over 3200 people gathered, dressed in post-apocalyptic “Mad Max” inspired garb to participate in a myriad of different activities. Oscar-winnner Tom Hanks has taken to Instagram to warn fans about an ad using an AI likeness of him to sell a dental plan. Making this the most lackluster episode of “Black Mirror” to date. “BEWARE!! There’s a video out there promoting some dental plan with an AI version of me. I have nothing to do with it,” Hanks wrote over a photo from the ad. Perpetual action hero Jason Statham (“The Meg 2”) is at it again in the first trailer for Miramax’s “The Beekeeper.” The upcoming film is directed by filmmaker David Ayer (“Fury”) from a script by Kurt Wimmer (“Expend4bles”). Sam Wineman, a producer for Shudder’s “Queer for Fear,” is suing the streamer, parent company AMC Networks, and executive producer Bryan Fuller for sexual harassment. As well as creating a hostile work environment and retaliation when the Wineman spoke up about the situation. Fuller’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, is already threatening a countersuit for defamation and malicious prosecution. “Defendant Bryan Fuller cultivated and maintained a hostile work environment as a result of harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault and retaliation from the years 2020 to 2022,” the suit claims. “Mr. Fuller sexually assaulted plaintiff several times throughout the Steakhaus Production of…
