British rock band Oasis reuniting wasn’t on many people’s 2024 bingo cards, but it quickly became one of the biggest selling shows around. More than 50,000 tickets sold for the U.K. reunion tour will now be canceled, because of resellers. These invalidated tickets will be made available (again) through the official seller, Ticketmaster, at face value. Which is still expensive with all the fees, but way chaper than buying on secondary platforms. Oasis Ticket Cancellations Like most huge concerts demand for Oasis tickets far outweighs the supply. To combat this fans were told they could only buy tickets through Ticketmaster…

In June of 2015, Hollywood legend Sir Christopher Lee passed away. The actor/musician had many iconic roles, but playing Saruman in Sir Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “Hobbit” prequel films was one of his biggest. Lee’s voice will return as the White Wizard in the upcoming anime film “The Lord of The Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.” And no, it is NOT with AI. For the past nine years, “The Lord of the Rings” projects have sidestepped the character in one way or another. Warner Bros. Discovery’s new anime adaptation is directly tied with Jackson’s…
Popcorn buckets have been this year’s hot cinematic collectible, starting with “Dune 2”’s unintentionally perverse snack container. The craze is getting a G-rated entry with the upcoming “Moana 2.” The Disney sequel will get a Regal-exclusive popcorn bucket, and is upping the ante with a nacho boat, too! The popcorn bucket will be a transparent blue wave with a figure of Moana touching its cresting tip. The nacho boat is shaped like the sailboat in the film, except it will be filled with chips and cheese. With another figure of Moana triumphantly standing on deck. From the images, it looks…
Once again, Dame Helen Mirren is using late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain to comment on how weird aging is. Cobain tragically passed away in 1994 at the age of 27, rocking the nation and music lovers alike. “I always say, it’s so sad that Kurt Cobain died when he did, because he never saw GPS,” Mirren told The Evening Standard. “GPS is the most wonderful thing, to watch my little blue spot walking down the street. I just find it completely magical and unbelievable.” “If you’re lucky, you get to be older. And then there you are. Oh my God,…
Director/producer Tom Donahue and producer Ilan Arboleda, the duo behind “This Changes Everything,” are setting their sights on the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA). Their new currently untitled documentary will look at the transformation of the performers’ union between 2008 and 2024. In 2008, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) for film and television studios went on strike. SAG considered doing so but ultimately decided against it. However, in 2023, both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA enacted their own independent strikes, with SAG-AFTRA on the picket lines for a landmark 118 days. This documentary…
Sony has officially put a new, currently untitled, “Spider-Man” movie on its summer 2026 release calendar. Tom Holland WILL be returning as everyone’s favorite web-slinger. Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”) is already attached to direct. Holland has previously starred in the Jon Watts-directed “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” Along with appearances as the character in Disney/Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Avengers: Endgame.” The star’s return for a fourth film was first hinted at back in September. However, Holland and co-star Zendaya had not…
There has been yet another disturbance in the force. Screenwriter Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders”) has exited the upcoming “Star Wars” movie starring Daisy Ridley. The new film is expected to follow Rey (Ridley) after the events shown in 2019’s “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” Knight signed on to the project in March 2023, replacing the original screenwriters Damon Lindelof (“The Hunt”) and Justin Britt-Gibson (“The Strain”). Lucasfilm is, once again, talking with potential writers about taking on the project. The plot for the untitled film is reported to follow Rey’s efforts to start a new Jedi Academy. With this…
Since 1942, Simon & Schuster’s Little Golden Books have put fun stories in the hands of children across the world. While these books normally contain fantastical fictitious tales the series has some non-fiction titles centering around real people. American icon Harrison Ford (“Star Wars,” “Indiana Jones”) will be getting his own story added to the series. “Harrison Ford: A Little Golden Book Biography” will tell the story of how he went from working as a carpenter to becoming a Hollywood icon. Readers can follow along as he explores a galaxy far, far away as Han Solo or as he searches…
Due to the nature of this AirBnB listing, there will be unavoidable spoilers for the movie “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.” So, read on at your own peril. Artist Delia Deetz (Catherine O’Hara) is ready to get into the real estate game! She has listed her iconic mansion on AirBnB. She will even throw in an art class from the great beyond. The House “I hereby invite to my home any artistic soul that wishes to make the pilgrimage,” the listing, which was apparently written by Deetz, reads. “Although shrouded in black to mourn Charles’ passing, the interior is unparalleled, curated by none…
Audiences can’t get enough of the puppy-avenging mercenary John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves. The 2014 film has already spawned three sequels (with another on the way), a TV series, and its first spin-off film “Ballerina” (again with more to come). But all that wasn’t enough and we are getting an anime movie too! Chad Stahelski, who has directed all of the live-action “John Wick” films, confirmed the project is “…knee-deep in development on a feature anime about John Wick. It’s a prequel to the movies, which is awesome. It’s fun that it’s in a different medium.” The Plot Stahelski…
