Namely, a scene that reinforces the stereotype that rats spread the bubonic plague. While PETA does have a point, humans were in fact the main spreader of the black death. A24’s upcoming film “Y2K” may be entering the popcorn bucket wars. The late 90s-themed horror sci-fi comedy could be hitting theaters with a collectible bucket shaped like an iMac.
