Ben Zazove and Evan Turner, the writing duo behind the action comedy “The Out-Laws,” are moving into the world of video games. English actor, comedian, and screenwriter Simon Pegg dropped some huge news during Creation Entertainment’s annual Trek to Vegas convention in Las Vegas. On the same day, Skydance and Paramount closed their $8 billion merger, making Skydance’s David Ellison the new Chairman and CEO. In Tennessee, Monroe County Schools have yanked more than 574 books from their libraries. While book bannings are becoming a disturbing trend in the U.S., most are pulled for things like violence or sexuality. However, this crop of forbidden books included several about cats and dogs. The Tony Award-winning cultural phenomenon “Hamilton” is turning 10 this year, and is finally getting its big screen debut. In 2020, Disney bought a filmed version of the stage musical about the life of former president Alexander Hamilton for $75 million. Tripadvisor has announced their 2025 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards, including Best Amusement Park in the United States. Dollywood took the #1 slot for the third time in four years, beating out Disneyland, LEGOland, and Universal Studios.
