Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino (“Pulp Fiction”) is praising Todd Phillips’ movie “Joker: Folie à Deux.” The much-anticipated follow-up to his Oscar-winning 2019 film “Joker” recently bombed at the box office. Universal Orlando Resort is opening a brand new park, Epic Universe in May of 2025. It will be Universal Orlando Resort’s third theme park and fourth park overall. British rock band Oasis reuniting wasn’t on many people’s 2024 bingo cards, but it quickly became one of the biggest selling shows around. More than 50,000 tickets sold for the U.K. reunion tour will now be canceled, because of resellers. Once again, Dame Helen Mirren is using late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain to comment on how weird aging is. Director/producer Tom Donahue and producer Ilan Arboleda, the duo behind “This Changes Everything,” are setting their sights on the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA). Their new currently untitled documentary will look at the transformation of the performers’ union between 2008 and 2024.  In 2008, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) for film and television studios went on strike. SAG considered doing so but ultimately decided against it.
