Iconic rock band Fleetwood Mac is getting its first fully authorized documentary. Frank Marshall will direct with Mark Monroe writing, the duo previously collaborated on “The Beach Boys” documentary. Apple is backing, and will distribute the currently untitled movie. In this upcoming documentary, the band will “share their extraordinary story in their own words.” The film will feature never-before-seen footage, exclusive new interviews, and archival interviews of the late Christine McVie (who passed away in 2022). Universal Pictures is backing an upcoming, currently untitled film from Steven Spielberg (“The Fabelmans”). Josh O’Connor (“Challengers,” “The Crown”) is the newest actor to join the reported science fiction project. He joins the previously announce Emily Blunt (“Oppenheimer”), Colman Domingo (“Rustin”), Colin Firth (“Rye Lane”), and Eve Hewson (“Bad Sisters”). HBO has announced it is working on a two-part documentary about the late Paul Reubens titled “Pee Wee As Himself.” In July 2023, Reubens, who played the iconic Pee Wee Herman on “Pee-wee’s Playhouse,” passed away.
