Looks like the horror genre is eating its own tail again (which isn’t always a bad thing) with a new crop of modern takes on classic monster movies. Warner Bros. Pictures has released a teaser for “The Bride,” based on James Whale’s film “Bride of Frankenstein” and Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel “Frankenstein.” Maggie Gyllenhaal will both write and direct the upcoming film. “The Bride” follows Frankenstein’s monster as he travels to 1930s Chicago to seek the aid of Dr. Euphronius. The cultural phenomenon “Wicked: For Good” is set to hit theaters next month. Since the films take place in the “Wizard of Oz” universe, there’s a lot of buzz about who’s playing Dorothy. On September 17th, ABC decided to suspend Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “indefinitely.” ABC’s parent company Nexstar Media Group Inc. confirmed Kimmel’s comments on the death of Charlie Kirk were the reason for the cancellation.   Former Disney CEO Michael Eisner has now commented on this decision, in a way we didn’t have on our bingo cards. “Where has all the leadership gone? If you need more proof that AI can and will force us into the weirdest timeline, here you go. The late Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee is back, in AI hologram form. This year’s L.A. Comic Con will unveil an interactive AI version of Lee that can hold short conversations with people.  The hologram will be housed in a 1,500 ft. enclosed booth deemed the Stan Lee Experience section. On September 17th, a guest at Universal’s Epic Universe Park passed away on the Stardust Racers ride. The rider, later identified as 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala, cause of death has just been determined to be “multiple blunt impact injuries.” The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is still investigating this tragic death. Zavala’s death is considered an accident by Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany, M.D, after an autopsy performed on September 18th. “Universal is cooperating with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office following a tragic event involving a guest at Epic Universe on Wednesday night,” Universal said in a statement…
