AMC has already renewed its two spin-offs of “The Walking Dead” series. A Broward County, Florida jury awarded $800,000 in damages in a lawsuit over an alleged overly hot chicken nuggets from a McDonald’s Happy Meal. One nugget left 4-year-old Olivia Caraballo severely burned, after it got stuck in her car seat, injuring her legs. The initial trial in May, yielded a split verdict over if the Tamarac fast food restaurant was responsible for the child’s burns back in 2019. The legal dispute between Taco John’s and Taco Bell over the trademarked phrase “Taco Tuesday” is over. The regional chain has announced that it will abandon the trademark since it’s not worth the legal fees to fight over it. Taco John’s had the phrase trademarked in every state except New Jersey for 34 years. Taco Bell set out to challenge this, claiming it as commonly used phrase. Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel” will be making its television debut later this summer on ABC. The network has announced it will show the first season of the original series across two Saturdays in August.   “Ms. Marvel” follows Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. Heavy metal band GWAR recently crashed NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, and it’s as hilarious as you’d expect. Actor Sean Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) has taken to Twitter to correct a now-removed interview he did with The Hollywood Reporter while standing on the Netflix picket line. The interview revolved around his role as Kirk on the show “Gilmore Girls,” which is currently streaming on Netflix. And the compensation, or lack thereof, he received from the streamer.
