Macaulay Culkin is celebrating the 35th anniversary of “Home Alone” by reprising his role as Kevin McCallister in a new ad for Home Instead. The first of these spots, titled  “Home But Not Alone,” has him reuniting with Old Man Marley’s granddaughter. We have some fun news for all you “Eloise” fans out there. Netflix is developing a live-action film based on the beloved children’s books by Kay Thompson, illustrated by Hilary Knight. Amy Sherman-Palladino (“Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”) will direct and co-write, and Ryan Reynolds will produce and co-star.  The live-action “Eloise” film will star newcomer Mae Schenk as the titular character. Reynolds is described as playing an “original villainous character.” Principal photography for the project is set to start this month. Happy Godzilla Day to all who celebrate! Toho Studios has already given us a huge bit of Kaiju news. Director Takashi Yamazaki is helming a sequel for his Oscar-winning “Godzilla Minus One,” called “Godzilla Minus Zero!” Like the first film, the title is also being stylized as “Godzilla -0.0.” The title was announced by the studio during a celebration event in Tokyo earlier this morning. Streaming giant Netflix has added another exciting upcoming series to its roster. The company’s UK arm has officially opened up the writers’ room for “Dangerous Liaisons.” The show is backed by BAFTA-winner Nicôle Lecky (“Mood”), Emmy nominee Drew Comins’ Creative Engine, and Fifth Season. The series is based on Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ 1782 French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” which was previously adapted into a 1988 film.
