Netflix Tarot Deck Reveals Your Streaming Future

You know the old saying, new year, new me, new binge-watch. Netflix has released a new ad with a tarot reader revealing your streaming future for 2026. The spot is part of a larger Discover Your Future campaign, designed to give your watchlist a splash of magic.

In the new ad, we watch a viewer go on an adventure through the worlds of “One Piece,” “Bridgerton,” “Avatar,” “Peaky Blinders,” “Sesame Street,” and more via a tarot reading.

But first, Netflix asks viewers to clear their minds, set their intentions, and let fate take over. Subscribers will then pick one card off the top of three tarot decks (pictured above), each with a future-facing question.

After that, the streamer will unlock your own unique reading, with each card giving a preview of what’s in store. “Each card reveals a fortune you’re set to encounter this year, matched with a Netflix movie or series with a plot that reflects that path. Destiny, delivered via your watch list,” Netflix explains.

These readings are designed to be shared among subscribers, infusing a bit of the long-lost social element back into Netflix. Sharing results across social media platforms lets viewers compare cards with friends and family. So we can all check out everyone else’s reading and secretly judge each other.
