It was designed as an entry into the solar decathlon, which is a competition encouraging different colleges to create a high-performance structure powered by renewable energy. “It’s a proof of concept that this really can be done and then can be repeated and scaled in a way that has a huge…

Earlier this week, SAG-AFTRA issued guidelines on Halloween costumes for guild members to stay compliant with the ongoing strike. These guidelines basically barred members dressing as anything from struck work, making it so most live-action movie characters were off-limits. The graphic they issued offered generic costume idea suggestions like “ghost, zombie, or spider.” Or going out trick or treating as animated TV show characters, since animation is a separate contract and not currently struck. The internet swiftly reacted by mocking these restrictions on what people could or couldn’t do on their own time. Hollywood rascal Ryan Reynolds (“Deadpool”) tweeted “I…

Director Renny Harlin will be heading up the next films for “The Strangers” franchise. But he is teasing that there may be more installments than just the planned trilogy. The Universe is based on the 2008 film “The Strangers” directed by Bryan Bertino, starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. This psychological horror film revolves around a couple being terrorized by three masked criminals. Its 2018 sequel, “The Strangers: Prey at Night” directed by Johannes Roberts, followed a similar plotline. While the followup didn’t do as well as the first film, it did show how adaptable the story could be. Now,…
Striking while the iron is still hot a sequel to “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” is already underway. Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield recently gave an interview talking about the film’s increase in budget. A lot of the times people are going there for the death scenes and for those elements and we’ve really upped the ante,” Frake-Waterfield told Variety. “I think the last time I did a count there was over 30 deaths in…
