While it kicked around for a while as “Superman: Legacy,” it has been retitled to just “Superman.” Pierce will play editor-in-chief of The Daily Planet, Perry White, who was introduced in the 1940 radio serial. White is boss to Clark Kent (Superman’s secret identity), fellow reporter Lois Lane, and photographer Jimmy Olsen. Ending an almost 10-year hiatus for the actor from the silver screen, Joshua Jackson (“Dr. Death”) is coming back to film. His next project you may ask?
