Heath Andrews has been a student of pop culture ever since he found himself to be the only student in 3rd grade who regularly watched "Get Smart" on Nick-At-Nite. Ever since then he's been engrossed in way too much media with a growing collection of music, books, comics, TV on DVD box sets, and a video game collection that could rival a brick and mortar store. Prior to writing for Nerdbot he's written for Review You, MyAnimeList, and various advertising companies. Since 2016 he's run his own YouTube channel under the moniker of The Critical Android where he livestreams video games and uploads podcasts about pop culture and Frasier.

At the start of April 2022, Bon Jovi began a tour that would extend through the entirety of the month and hit numerous states through the United States. But with a new year and hopefully reduced infection rates, bands have been hitting the road again. For Jon Bon Jovi and his titular band though, the return to live performance has been met with terrible reviews. Over the last two weeks, I’ve been reading all kinds of comments online about how Jon has…

Well, it looks like James Corden won’t be Carpool Karaoke-ing his way to work next year. The current host of “The Late Late Show” has announced that he renewed his contract for one year, and will be departing the program before the summer of 2023. Until then, he plans to continue the adventure he’s on for one more year- an adventure that has legitimately made his late-night program uniquely his own. It’s been 36 years since the release of the late Tony Scott’s monumental “Top Gun” and its accompanying soundtrack. It gave us Kenny Loggin’s memeworthy “Danger Zone,” but it also gave us the Academy Award-winning “Take My Breath Away” performed by Berlin, and written by Giorgio Moroder and Tom Whitlock. The entirety of the record is emblematic of the mid-80s, and has a legacy all its own. So, with…

Of these four, only two of them also contain the original white blouse. Back in the 70s, one of…

It has been almost 32 years since the last new episode of beloved Disney Afternoon staple, “Chip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers:” aired in syndication. The action/adventure based spin-off for the two Disney chipmunks featured them solving mysteries and crimes with the help of their friends Gadget, Monterey Jack, and Zipper. But we’re happy to say that after a three decade absence, these two gumshoes, are still picking up the slack and delivering us a new trailer. Previously we got to see a lot of this world in which the film takes place; a Roger Rabbit-style universe where toons and humans…

In the late Glenn Frey’s solo song “Smuggler’s Blues,” the former Eagle sings “It’s a losing proposition, but one you can’t refuse. It’s the politics of contraband, it’s the smuggler’s blues.” Who knows how much Glenn actually knew about the smuggling business, but a recent arrest in New Delhi has certainly left a man with the blues after $40,000 worth of gold was found hidden on him…and in him. An unnamed man was traveling from Abu Dhabi to New Delhi, but was swiftly arrested when he departed his flight. No reason was listed for why officials were suspicious of the…
