David Tennant and Michael Sheen Reunite for “Good Omens” Quarantine Special

The 30th anniversary of Neil Gaiman and the late great Terry Pratchett’s “Good Omens” is this May. The delightful novel brought to us by two greats once again resurfaced in popularity with last years mini series featured on Amazon. Starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant.

To celebrate, Neil Gaiman himself wrote a special quarantine mini-episode published Friday. So you don’t have to wait to watch it. Better yet Sheen and Tennant reprise thier roles as the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley.

If you haven’t watched the show or read the book, go right ahead and do either or else this mini skit might not make much sense. Neither medium of the work is long and it is definitely thorougly enjoyable.

The audio clip presented is only three-minutes and follows Aziraphale and Crowley as they check in with each other in lockdown. As they are won’t to do. Everyone knows they truly belong together.
Crowley’s finds himself losing his mind with only his houseplants for company. Distraught that and he can’t even bring himself to spread fear and discontent amongst the masses. How can he when the pandemic has taken that role right out of his hands? Meanwhile, Aziraphale is contented to sit in his closed book store all day and be the introvert he always was. Delightfully reading away the days.

Douglas Mackinnon who was the series Director also returned to help create the short video. Which is chock full of Easter eggs and imagery from throughout Aziraphale and Crowley’s life since the dawn of time basically.

“This is our present to all of you,” Gaiman wrote on Twitter. “It’s to make people happy, because too many of us are sad.”

Good Omens the book is 30. This is our present to all of you. It's to make people happy, because too many of us are sad. #GoodOmens30 https://t.co/3q4FVnj3tq
