As a child I have loved Batman for as long as I can remember. I distinctly remember sitting in front of the TV and Watching Bert Ward and Adam West fight the bad guys like Eartha Kit (Catwoman) and Cesar Romero (Joker) the POW, ZAP, OOF, HNNG! Those are the things that I will always remember.
But today is a special day in the land of the Bats. On this day back in 1963 a little boy named Bruce Wayne was born. That’s right THE Bruce Wayne, the hair of Wayne Enterprises, the same Wayne who lost his parents Thomas and Martha at a young age. The creators of this icon are Bill Finger and Bob Kane.
Of course the actual date of when he becomes Batman is April 6th (which I totally DO NOT have a reminder of my calendar) Happy birthday Bruce! I have enjoyed the comics immensely, I bet you will be spending the day with your new wife Selena. 57 looks great on you, cheers!
