Do you like milk bubble tea drinks? If you do, you can now enjoy them in another, delicious form (if you are in Japan)! On November 18, 2019, Lipton Japan released their Lipton Tea Ice bar.
What is Bubble Tea?

Bubble tea (frequently called boba tea) was invented in Taiwan in the 1980s and has since become a very popular drink around the world. Nowadays, many restaurants and shops sell it in a variety of flavors. There are also many options available to replace the chewy tapioca balls (aka boba).
2 Layers
The milk tea flavored bar contains two rich layers. The outer layer is candylike, while the inside one is creamy and chewy.

The Collaboration
This refreshing dessert is the result of Lipton and Akagi Dairy teaming up. Akagi Dairy is known for its popular Gari Gari Kun treat.
Together, they were able to figure out a way for the boba balls to retain their consistency whilst being frozen.
The Lipton Tea Ice bar is now available in Japan for ¥140 (about $1.29 in the U.S.), and is much cheaper than an actual cup of bubble tea.
