This years Power-Con convention just dropped some pretty big news. Kevin Smith will be working for Netflix to create a He-Man limited anime series titled Masters of the Universe: Revelation.
Smith will serve as project showrunner and executive producer. Unlike the She-Ra and the Princess of Power series which is completely original. Masters of the Universe will be taking place where the original show left off.
It will focus on unresolved storylines and feature familiar characters. Mattel Television is producing the series and Powerhouse animation is doing the animation for it. Powerhouse also animated Netflix’s Castlevania.
Smith makes some big promises with this series stating that this, “is the Masters of the Universe story you always wanted to see as a kid.” He also says that this could be, “The final battle between He-Man and Skeletor.”
Netflix has not released any other information as of yet but we will be updating you when the date for streaming has been announced. Stay tuned!
