Last year, The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig, hit theaters. Adapted from Freida McFadden’s 2022 novel of the same name, the movie was a huge hit. Now, the follow-up, The Housemaid’s Secret, has added Paul Anthony Kelly (Love Story) to the cast.
Feig will return to direct from a script by the also returning Rebecca Sonnenshine. Sydney Sweeney will reprise her role as Millie with Michele Morrone, who will play Enzo again. They star alongside Kelly and Kirsten Dunst.

In the first film, we see a desperate Milie trying to escape her troubled past. Things seem to be looking up when she accepts a position as a live-in housemaid for a wealthy family. That is, until the couple she is working for starts acting strangely. Her dream job quickly turns into a nightmare as she discovers what really lurks behind this picture-perfect family.
In The Housemaid’s Secret, Millie takes a job keeping house for a woman she’s never allowed to see. Only for her to discover the truth behind a locked door that threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own.
The Housemaid’s Secret is slated to hit theaters on December 17, 2027. We’ll keep you posted on updates about the project as it develops.
