Actress Tori Spelling was driving with seven kids in the car, four of her children and three of their friends, when another driver allegedly ran a red light while speeding and struck their vehicle.

It happened at around 5:45 P.M. near the 28000 block of Rancho California Road in Temecula.

Spelling’s representatives confirmed the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress was taken to a hospital following the crash, and the children in the car were “transported to the hospital in three separate ambulances.” They were treated for injuries, including cuts, bruises, and possible concussions. Though none of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.

    The Crash

Eyewitnesses captured video of Spelling at the scene speaking to an officer. Those on scene described her as not angry, but more hyped up on adrenaline. Sources say everyone is doing alright, and that may be due to Spelling’s quick thinking and the way she maneuvered the vehicle to minimize a more severe impact.

The Riverside Sheriff’s Department confirmed in a statement: “On April 2, 2026, at 5:44 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 28000 block of Rancho California Road regarding a vehicle collision.” “No arrests were made, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation,” deputies added.

Spelling, 52, is mom to Liam, 19, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, 9, all with ex-husband Dean McDermott. It has not been publicly confirmed which four of her children were in the car at the time.

This isn’t the first time Spelling has found herself in a scary situation behind the wheel. Back in 2011, she crashed her car into a wall while being chased by paparazzi. At the time, she was pregnant and driving her two eldest kids to school. She tweeted at the time: “Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school.”

ABC News‘ Shafiq Najib said it reached out to Spelling’s representative for comment but did not immediately receive a response. Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the crash.
