Over 20 years after the release of “Kill Bill Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2,” director Quentin Tarantino is still bleeding that well dry. The filmmaker has also been vocal about an important story known as “Yuki’s Revenge,” which didn’t make it into the original two films.
Now, after years of railing against streaming films, he will be releasing an animated version inside the video game “Fortnite.”

“Yuki’s Revenge” follows Yuki, the sister of Gogo Yubari (Chiaki Kuriyama), as she tracks The Bride (Uma Thurman) to avenge her sister’s death. Thurman will be returning to voice her character.
The short is directed by Tarantino and built with Unreal Engine and character models from “Fortnite.”
“Yuki’s Revenge” will premiere in “Fortnite” on November 30th at 2pm. (ET). It will be listed in the top row of the Discover section. Doors for the viewing experience will be open 30 minutes before the start time.
However, if video games aren’t your thing, starting December 5th, participating theaters will also be showing “Yuki’s Revenge” as a part of the exclusive limited theatrical run of “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair.” Check for showtimes near you via Fandango here.
