‘Twin Peaks: From Z to A’ Collection Getting Rerelease

Back in 2019, the legendary tv series “Twin Peaks“ was immortalized in a beautiful box set. Twin Peaks: From Z to A was limited to 25,000 copies worldwide. If you’re interested in owning the collection, you’re in luck as it’s getting a rerelease next month.

    Kyle MacLachlan, “Twin Peaks”

The saga of David Lynch‘s masterwork spans various forms of media. It started as an ABC series, but also encompasses several lore books, stories written by characters and released in real life, a feature film, and an audio collection of Agent Cooper’s (Kyle MacLachlan) tapes. If you’re looking for the main story, you’ll need to watch the two original seasons of the show, the film “Fire Walk with Me,” the deleted scenes from “The Missing Pieces,” and SHOWTIME’s revival from 2017.

    David Lynch’s weather reports

That’s a lot of “Twin Peaks” and all of that is included in Twin Peaks: From Z to A along with a couple of bonuses. Want to watch a 4K cut of the pilot and Part 8 of the limited series? You got it. You’ve even got some interviews and behind the scenes features to round out the experience. It’s more Lynchian weirdness than you could shake a stick at, or the Log Lady could shake a log at really. This set doesn’t come in the nice little box that the original run did, nor does it include the photo stills and other bits of swag, but that’s nothing compared to the amount of video content you’re getting.

    Amazon

*This* author managed to snag one of them on the used market a couple years after it released. Was it worth it? Completely. Considering everything encompassed in that box set and how amazing “Twin Peaks” is and was as a show, it was absolutely a necessary buy.

    Amazon

To know “Twin Peaks” is to understand a huge part of popular culture that has worked its way into influencing a lot of people and projects. Video games from Silent Hill to Alan Wake to even Link’s Awakening have been heavily influenced by this show. “Gravity Falls” was massively inspired by “Twin Peaks,” as was “I Saw the TV Glow.” So get your hands on this set and with the exception of some parts of season two of the original series, enjoy it! You can pre-order it on Amazon here. The set releases on February 3rd.
