“Severance” Cast Brings Lumon Industries to Life at Grand Central

Apple TV+’s hit series “Severance” is no stranger to odd concepts but its latest marketing stunt may take the cake. The show set up an office inside of a glass box in the middle of New York City’s bustling Grand Central Station.

While the enclosure was originally populated by unknown employees for the ficticious company Lumon Industries. Series stars Adam Scott (“Parks and Recreation”), Patricia Arquette (“Gonzo Girl”), Britt Lower (“Darkest Miriam”), Zach Cherry (“Fallout”), and Tramell Tillman (“Sweethearts”) eventually took over the faux office. All under the watchful eye of director Ben Stiller (“Zoolander”), to promote the upcoming second season.

The Dan Erickson-created drama revolves around a surgery that separates a person’s work self from their off-hours self. So, Lumon’s staff were still on the clock even in the unique setting in the chaos of Grand Central. Passersby caught them doing normal office stuff like vacuuming and throwing paper airplanes.

    “Severance” Season 2

Season 2 of “Severance” will continue to follow Mark (Scott) and his team’s mission to unravel the mystery of what they actually do at Lumon. This season will also welcome back cast members John Turturro (“The Cut”) and Christopher Walken (“Dune: Part 2”). Alongside fresh faces including Alia Shawkat (“Search Party”), Robby Benson (“Beauty and the Beast”), Stefano Carannante (“Mirabilia”), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (“The Tourist”), Gwendoline Christie (“Game of Thrones”), Bob Balaban (“The Chair”), Merritt Wever (“Godless”), and John Noble (“Fringe”).

The second season of “Severance” hits Apple TV+ January 17th, 2025. You can check out some of the footage and trailer below:
