    Sir Christopher Nolan Adapting Greek Epic “The Odyssey”

    Universal Pictures has officially confirmed what film the newly knighted Sir Christopher Nolan‘s next film will be. According to the studio’s official social media accounts, Nolan will be tackling the Greek epic of “The Odyssey.”

    “Christopher Nolan’s next film ‘The Odyssey’ is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology,” Universal tweeted. “The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.”

    At present, the cast list is believed to include Charlize Theron, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Lupita Nyong’o, and Robert Pattinson.

    Nolan was knighted by King Charles on December 18th. His longtime producer Emma Thomas (who is also his wife) was also honored, with a damehood.
