Have you ever taken a sip of tequila and thought; “This isn’t spooky enough?” Well, horror hounds Matthew Lillard (“Scream,” “Five Nights at Freddy’s”) and Justin Ware (“Bloodsucking Bastards”) are here to help with their new liquor, Macabre Spirits. This premium Reposado from the Jalisco region is the world’s first tequila made by and for devotees of horror.

If Lillard and Ware behind it wasn’t enough, each bottle comes with an exclusive new novella, “Rare, Fine & Limited.’ Which is the first work of fiction from filmmaker Mike Flanagan (“Fall of the House of Usher,” “Haunting of Hill House”). This limited-edition release also comes in a haunting black bottle, to help you fully carpe noctem (seize the night).

An exclusive presale for the new tequila will begin on October 22nd, and open to everyone on October 24th. The first 5,000 bottles are numbered for you collectors out there.

However, the bottles will not be shipped until the first quarter of the 2025 holiday gifting season. While that may sound like a missed opportunity, “…what better time than the heart of winter to relieve the seasonal doldrums with a sip of Reposado and an eerie tale,” the makers query.

Those over 21 can pre-order their bottle of Macabre Spirits here. Please drink responsibly.
