Listen up, brother! Legendary hall of fame wrestler Hulk Hogan is getting into the beer business. The Hulkster’s new brew is fittingly christened Real American Beer. Just in case you didn’t know what demographic he was trying to appeal to.

On June 13th, Hogan posted “Bringing America together one beer at a time, with Real American Beer. Coming to a city near you ?,” to Instagram. The post has a video of him promoting it by making an appearance at another American staple, a Hooters restaurant.

The new beer is described as “American-made easy-drinking light lager.” It’s brewed with “100% North American ingredients” and contains a 4.2% ABV.  Each can carries a rich golden hue to ensure a “well-balanced taste,” according to the news release.

“We’ve formed an all-star team to make it happen, and I’m excited to introduce Real American Beer to fans and beer lovers everywhere,” said Hogan.

Where to Find Real American Beer

Real American Beer will be distributed across 17 states during the summer. A spokesman confirmed it will be released in Florida, Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado. At this time, the other 13 states are still unknown.

The company has already partnered with supermarket chains Albertsons, Safeway, Sam’s Club, and Walmart. Along with Total Wine & More retailers like ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, allowing for wide accessibility to most consumers.

The Real American Beer team will also be hosting events to aid the new beer’s launch. There will be one on June 17th in Minnesota, Missouri on June 20th, and Colorado on June 24th. More states will be added to the slate of live events in July and August.
