Home Depot 12-Foot Skeleton Getting a Dog This Year!

In 2020, Home Depot released Skelly, the 12-foot tall skeleton that instantly went viral and sold out nationwide. Even though a 12-foot Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton came a year later, Skelly has been looking a bit lonely. So this year, the hardware retailer will be throwing a large dog into the mix!

“We’re excited to share that Skelly will be back this Halloween season along with a new companion and friends,” Home Depot posted to Facebook. “Take a peek and let us know which product you’re most excited to see online and in-stores later this year.”

In addition to this 4-legged companion, they are also adding a headless horseman, pirate, Frankenstein’s monster, haunted tree, plague doctor, and some kind of chrome-skulled gambler to the line. [Seriously, what is this supposed to be?!]

The new skeleton dog is currently nameless, but we are sure the internet is already working on a cool nickname. Since the online hivemind is what gave Skelly their moniker.

    When Will It Launch?

Currently, there is no set price tag or release date for any of these new additions. But some sources believe it could launch as early as April. For those who think that may be too early for an October-based holiday, Christmas is doing it, why can’t Halloween? Not to mention plenty of people are putting Skelly out for every holiday since spooky season is all year round.
