Hot wings and booze are like peanut butter and jelly or spaghetti and meatballs, they just go together. So of COURSE someone is finally combining the two for a…questionable…flavor. Just in time for the Super Bowl, Hard seltzer brand Truly is planning to capitalize on this winning combination with a new limited-edition hot wing flavor.

Truly promises to meet “football fans’ favorite finger food all in one convenient package – no napkins required.” To be fair, in this economy, no longer needing a boatload of napkins to supply a BBQ is a huge selling point.

“We’re all about keeping it light, so we’re bringing drinkers everything they need to accompany the cheers, jeers, and tears of game day in one convenient package with Truly Hot Wing Hard Seltzer,” said Matt Withington, senior director of marketing for Truly, in a statement. “

“We’ve kicked things up a notch with this flavor exploration born at Truly LA and can’t wait for fans to try this fun and playful combination that’s sure to score,” he added

Sure, nobody asked for it, but did we ask for Nacho Cheese Doritos flavored liquor, either? We had even started to push the hot dog-flavored hard seltzer out of our minds.

4-packs of this new zesty alcoholic concoction will be available starting January 29th. Customers in select markets can even have it delivered through Give Them Beer. As always please drink responsibly, and legally.
