Animated gateway horror series “Fright Krewe” will be getting a second season. Proving once again the renewal process for shows is getting shorter and shorter, considering the 10-episode first season debuted on Hulu and Peacock on October 2nd.

The show revolves around an ancient prophecy and Voodoo Queen. That put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in almost two centuries. But, saving the world just might be easier than becoming friends.
The cast of “Fright Krewe” consists of Sydney Mikayla as Soleil, Tim Johnson Jr. as Maybe, Grace Lu as Missy, Chester Rushing as Stanley, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Pat, and Jacques Colimon as Belial. Other recurring cast members include Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Richards, X Mayo, Rob Paulsen, JoNell Kennedy, Melanie Laurent, Chris Jai Alex, Reggie Watkins, Cherise Boothe, Keston John, Grey Delisle, and Krizia Bajos.

The series was created by Eli Roth, James Frey, and DreamWorks Animation. Roth and Frey also work as executive producers on the series along with Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco. Shane Acker and Mitchell Smith are co-executive producers, with DreamWorks Animation producing.
While no firm release date has been set just yet, the second season is expected to premiere in 2024. We’ll keep you posted on updates about “Fright Krewe” as they become available.
