Hulu has released a teaser for the highly anticipated third season of their hit comedy series “Only Murders in the Building.” The murder mystery trio of Charles-Haden (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) is back in action after their successful investigation in the previous season. However, this time, they will be joined by none other than three-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep!

The premise of the show centers around the trio’s obsession with true crime. It follows their involvement in solving a murder that occurs in their Upper West Side apartment building. As they document their investigation on a podcast, they discover the building’s complex history and secrets. They soon realize that a killer might be living among them.

We don’t know much about Streep’s character, but the teaser gives us a glimpse of her in the show. She can be seen handling important documents with the rest of the cast. In addition, Aaron Dominguez, who made a cameo in season 2, will be joining the regular cast as Ben Glenroy. Paul Rudd, who also appeared in the second season, will reprise his role as well.

Iconic Addition to the Already Star Studded Cast

The first-look was released during the broadcast of the Academy Awards, which is fitting given Streep’s record-breaking 21 Oscar nominations. Streep is the most nominated actor in history. Her performances in “Kramer vs. Kramer,” “Sophie’s Choice,” and “The Iron Lady” have earned her three Best Actress Oscars.

Fans can’t wait to see what Streep brings to the show when the hit comedy series “Only Murders in the Building” returns. No official date has been announced yet for season 3’s release.
