Two-time Grammy-winning band Evanescence’s album “Fallen” was released in 2003. The album spent 43 weeks on the Billboard Top 10 when it was first released.  It has now sold more than 17 million copies worldwide. And, it happens to be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

This year in honor of the big 2-0, the band has teamed up with Hipdot for an anniversary makeup palette.

The palette comes in a CD-style case with the cover art from “Fallen,” featuring lead singer Amy Lee‘s face. The case contains a ring of 8 different tones of “tracks” inspired by Evanescence’s landmark debut album. All the shades are inspired by the album’s cover art and cool blue tones evoked by their lyrics. The colors are made up of soft mattes, pigmented shimmers, and easy-to-blend glitters.

    Track Shade Descriptions:

    1. “Going Under” – Bright White – Shimmer
    2. “Haunted” – Bright Blue/Silver – Foil
    3. “Bring Me to Life” – Muted Blue/Grey – Matte
    4. “Everybody’s Fool” -Dark Blue Jean – Matte
    5. “My Immortal” – Royal Blue – Foil
    6. “Taking Over” – Greyish Periwinkle – Foil
    7. “Imaginary” – Deep Royal Blue – Glitter
    8. “Hello” – Black – Matte

Just like the Korn “Follow the Leader” palette released earlier this week, it is also cruelty free and vegan. Also like the Korn collaboration, Hipdot has already sold out at breakneck speed. Seriously, 5 hours after Evanescence posted about it to Facebook they were all gone.

But if you missed the first run, don’t worry. You can sign up for Hipdot’s mailing list so you’ll be among the first to know when the “Fallen” line is restocked. With sales like this, we can’t wait to see what angsty music from our pre-teens/teens Hipdot brings back next!
