Filmmaker Ben Affleck has been spotted working at a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru in Medford, Massachusetts. But this isn’t a tale of “how the mighty have fallen,” he was simply just shooting an ad for the chain.

The Boston native has a long-running love affair with the formally donut-centric fast food franchise. “It’s amazing! I have Dunkin’ Donuts everyday,” he gushed about having a location in Los Angeles back in 2019. “It’s very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, ‘Where is that? Is that near here?’ So, I feel like I’m spreading the word.”

Affleck dawned the company uniform to work the drive-thru window. He stunned several fans as they pulled up to get their order, only to be met by the Academy Award-winning actor.  One even claimed they got their food and drinks for him free of change. Pretty sure that’s against corporate policy but we doubt he is getting fired for it.

Another customer told NBC 10 Boston that Affleck was “quick-witted and funny when they talked.” Sounds like employee of the month material to us!

While the company has not commented on Affleck’s employment situation. Mackay did say she signed a release form to appear in the ad. and plenty of customers have confirmed they were shooting an ad. Some customers even got a glimpse of Affleck’s wife Jennifer Lopez, but no word if she will have any screen time. With this much star power attached, most are assuming the will be a Super Bowl LVII spot. But as of right now, neither Dunkin’ nor Affleck have confirmed it.

We just hope it’s half as good as Al Pacino’s Dunkin’ ad in “Jack and Jill.” And Ben’s brother Casey Affleck‘s “Saturday Night Live” Dunkin’ sketch.
